AI video clipper with no watermark on any plan
By the KeyMo team · Updated
KeyMo is an AI video clipper that puts no watermark on any plan. Every export is a vertical 9:16 clip at 1080x1920, up to 15 per video. The catch is price: KeyMo has no free plan and no trial, so a clean export starts with Starter at $12 a month for 300 source minutes.
What no watermark means in KeyMo
KeyMo does not stamp its logo, name or a badge on the clips it exports. That is true on Starter and on Pro. There is no cheaper tier that adds a mark and no dearer tier that removes it, so the plan you choose only changes how many source minutes you get.
Two things on screen are still in your hands. The first is captions. KeyMo has 12 caption styles with word-by-word timing, and it also lets you pick no captions, which gives you a bare frame. The second is your own footage: a channel logo that is already burned into the source video is part of that footage, not something KeyMo adds.
- Format: vertical 9:16, 1080x1920, 30 fps, H.264 video with AAC audio.
- Count: up to 15 clips from one video.
- Length: Auto picks 15 to 90 seconds; Short is 20 to 40, Medium 40 to 60, Long 60 to 90.
- Never 16:9. If you need a widescreen cut as well, KeyMo does not make one.
From a long video to a clean export
- Add the video. Paste a YouTube link (link import is on paid plans, and every plan is paid) or upload an MP4 or MOV. Length must be 5 minutes to 3 hours and the file up to 10 GB. Link import only fetches up to 1080p, and you confirm you own the video or have permission to use it.
- Choose a clip length: Auto, Short, Medium or Long.
- KeyMo finds candidate moments and gives each clip a score out of 10 with a one-line reason. Only clips scoring 7 or higher are kept, so a weak video returns fewer clips instead of padding.
- Face-tracking reframes the picture to 9:16, silence is trimmed, and the captions you chose are added.
- Open any clip in the chat editor and tell KeyMo what to change, then download clips one by one or as a ZIP.
What you get and what you do not
| You get | You do not get | |
|---|---|---|
| Watermark | None, on Starter and on Pro | A cheaper plan that adds a logo |
| Cost to try | A paid plan you can cancel from the Billing page | A free plan or a trial |
| Shape | Vertical 9:16 only | 16:9 or square exports |
| Input | YouTube link (paid plans) or MP4/MOV, 5 minutes to 3 hours, up to 10 GB | Videos under 5 minutes, or over 3 hours in one piece |
| Link import | Up to 1080p, with a rights confirmation | A pull of 4K from the link |
| Output | Up to 15 clips, 1080x1920, 30 fps | 4K clips, or clips that all score 7 when the video does not |
Long video to Shorts without a watermark: what it costs
People who type long video to shorts ai free without watermark usually want three things at once: no cost, no logo, and good clips. KeyMo gives the second and third. For the first it asks for a plan.
| Plan | Price | Source minutes | Max per video |
|---|---|---|---|
| Starter | $12 a month (Rs 799 for visitors in India) | 300 | 180 minutes |
| Pro | $29 a month (Rs 1,999 for visitors in India) | 900 | 180 minutes |
Yearly billing costs ten times the monthly price. Minutes are counted on the length of the video you put in, not on how many clips come out, and they reset each billing period. See pricing for the current figures.
The search for a youtube video to shorts converter ai free without watermark has the same trade. A converter that costs nothing has to recover the cost somewhere, and the places are the logo, the minutes, or how long the clips stay available. KeyMo takes the minutes route.
What other free tiers do instead
Here is what four vendors' own pages said on 2026-10-11 about their cost-free options. It is not a ranking. Klap is the exception and says so.
| Tool | Free option, per its own pages | Watermark |
|---|---|---|
| OpusClip | 60 credits a month; clips stop being exportable after 3 days | Yes on the Free plan |
| Vizard | 60 credits of uploads; projects expire after 3 days | Yes, a Vizard.ai mark on free exports |
| Kapwing | 10 credits; free exports include its AI Clip Maker output | Yes, bottom right; re-exportable clean after upgrading |
| Klap | One video with no card | Says it never adds one, even on the free plan |
The details behind the first three are in our guides on OpusClip's watermark and Vizard's, and the captions-without-watermark guide covers the wider set. Side-by-side pages: KeyMo vs OpusClip and KeyMo vs Klap.
A 60-second check for any clipper's export
- Export one short clip with the settings you will really use, not a preview.
- Play it full screen on your phone and look at all four corners.
- Watch the last second as well as the corners, in case a mark appears only at the end.
- Check the file properties for resolution and length against what the plan says.
- Only then pay, and do it on a monthly plan first.
Who it suits
- Podcasters, interviewers and anyone with talking-head video who posts vertical clips on a schedule and cannot have a logo on them.
- People who want clean files from the start, with no separate step to remove a logo.
- Not for you if free is a hard requirement, if you need 16:9 or square output, or if your videos are under 5 minutes.
Podcast-specific setup is on the podcast clip generator page, and the YouTube to Shorts page covers link import.
