Review
Vizard AI review: is it good and worth it, from its own pages
By the KeyMo team · Updated
Vizard has a free plan with 60 credits a month and paid Creator and Business plans from $29 and $39 a month at the lowest usage tier. One credit is one minute of video. This review uses only Vizard's own pages as of 11 October 2026, not hands-on testing or user reviews.
How this Vizard AI review was made
We read vizard.ai, its pricing page, a set of help-centre articles and its API docs, all on 11 October 2026. We did not use the product and we did not read user reviews. Searches such as vizard ai review reddit or vizard reddit lead to threads this page does not cover, and nothing here repeats user opinions or star ratings.
So is vizard ai good? This page can't answer that. It can show what the plans allow, where Vizard's own pages disagree, and which kind of user each plan fits.
What Vizard does
Vizard turns a long video into short clips. Its help centre says it works best on speech-based videos such as podcasts, webinars and interviews, and recommends videos longer than 15 minutes. You can steer the clipping with a prompt, such as the part about a given topic, though a prompt reduces the number of clips. The number of clips varies with the content, since the AI will not generate clips if the video lacks enough speech.
The home page lists AI captions, AI emoji, AI B-roll, editing by deleting transcript text, caption translation, brand templates, a timeline editor, a team workspace and direct publishing. It also says Vizard can turn a long video into 30 or more clips in one click, which is the vendor's claim.
Vizard plans and limits, checked 11 October 2026
| Plan | Price | What the pages list |
|---|---|---|
| Free | $0 | 60 credits a month; 720p export; project storage 3 days; 1 social account; Vizard.ai watermark per the help centre |
| Creator | $29 a month, or $174 a year | From 600 credits a month; no watermark; 4K export; 100 GB storage; 6 social accounts; post scheduling |
| Business | $39 a month, or $234 a year | From 600 credits a month; shared workspace; brand kit; unlimited storage; 20 social accounts; extra seats billed |
The yearly tiers run from 7,200 up to 74,400 credits, and we could not read prices for the tiers above the lowest. The pricing page calls yearly 50% off, while a help article says moving from monthly to yearly saves 5 months, about 42%.
Credits, rollover and upload limits
- One credit is one minute of video, charged once per project even if you use both AI clipping and transcription on it.
- Unused credits roll over. Each release is valid for 2 months on monthly plans and 13 months on yearly plans. Upgrading from Creator to Business does not carry Creator credits across.
- Upload length: the pricing table says 60 minutes on Free and 600 on paid plans, with 1 GB and 30 GB file sizes. The help centre says local files must be no larger than 10 GB and no longer than 10 hours.
- Formats for local upload: mp4, mov, 3gp, avi, mp3, wav and m4a. Link upload needs Google Drive links set to public, and the API docs list a direct file link, YouTube, Google Drive, Vimeo and several other sources.
- Export: the pricing table says 4K on paid plans, while a help article says Vizard preserves the original resolution up to 1080p.
Extra Business seats are listed at $5 a month on the pricing page and in a billing article.
Refunds, cancelling and safety
The help centre allows a refund for a billing error, or if requested within 7 days of purchase for unused services only, and uploading counts as use. Approved refunds take 5 to 10 business days, and processing fees may be deducted. Cancelling from the account settings lets the plan run to the end of the billing cycle.
On whether Vizard is safe, we only have what the pages say: payments are processed by Stripe, and card, PayPal and bank transfer are accepted. We did not read the terms of service and we did not assess how it stores or protects uploads.
Where Vizard is the better pick, and where KeyMo is
Pick Vizard if you want a free plan to try first, credits that roll over, source videos beyond three hours, or a shared workspace with many social accounts. Its stated 4K export is also something KeyMo does not offer.
KeyMo suits podcasts and interviews up to 3 hours. It returns up to 15 vertical clips, each scored out of 10 with a one-line reason, and keeps only those scoring 7 or higher. KeyMo has two plans: Starter at $12 a month for 300 source minutes and Pro at $29 for 900, with no watermark on either. A worked example: a 2-hour interview takes 120 minutes of KeyMo's 300 on Starter, or 120 of Vizard's lowest-tier 600 monthly credits. KeyMo has no free plan and no trial.
